The Australis RD/SAF network is not a series of independent facilities — it is a single operating business with distributed production. Central management, shared engineering, and standardised design mean the economics improve materially with every site added.
Facilities are standardised enough to be managed as a fleet. A single operations team monitors all sites from a central control centre, with standardised maintenance programmes, shared spare parts and catalyst inventories, and common safety management systems.

Each facility is designed to return value to the farms that supply it — in forms that improve productivity and reduce costs. Canola meal, digestate, and biochar are designed outputs, not by-products.
The Australis model is structurally different from conventional industrial facilities. What the facility takes from local farms returns to them in forms that reduce fertiliser costs, improve soil health, and open new income streams. This circularity is built into the process design — not listed in a sustainability report.

Canola meal goes to local livestock producers. Digestate returns nitrogen, phosphorus, and potassium to local farms under formal MOU, reducing synthetic fertiliser imports. Biochar improves water retention in the low-rainfall Esperance region and enables farmer access to emerging soil carbon markets.
